Garam Masala (Pronounced: GA-rum ma-SAL-a)

One of the most popular ground spice mixtures used in North Indian cooking
Masala Ground spice mixture
Naan (Pronounced: Non) Leavened flat bread
Paneer (Pronounced: pun-EAR) Fresh Indian cheese similar to ricotta or cottage cheese
Pickle Condiment of spicy pickled fruits such as raw mango or lemon
Pulao (Pronounced: pull-OW) Rice dish, similar to a pilaf
Raita (Pronounced: RYE-tha) Spiced Yogurt
Roti or Chapati (Pronounced: Row-ti) (Pronounced: Cha-PA-thee) Unleavened griddle cooked flat bread
